Abstract A comparative study of antithrombotic activity of SBT-828, a novel indole derivative, which showed potent antiaggregant activity in vitro, and aspirin, was performed on a murine model of systemic epinephrine-collagen arterial thrombosis, as well as on a murine model of electrically-induced carotid artery thrombosis. The indole derivative was three times greater than the comparator in its ability to prevent mortality of white outbred mice. SBT-828 had a dose-dependent antithrombotic activity in an electrically-induced thrombosis model and showed superiority over the comparator (aspirin) by 1.8 times.
